before but the syllabus on FS1/FS2 was changed midway.
Topics were swapped
and those papers had to be rewritten.

I hope you are all healthy and
covid19 free…
I have been writing loads of new
questions in the recent weeks (a conservative estimate is around
150) but have not formatted any new papers yet…
By September
2020 I hope to
go into a paper writing spree on most titles inc
FP4, FS1
(I have to redo as the syllabus was changed midway
the
course), FS2, FM2.
Note that I plan no papers on
Discrete Modules.

LITTLE CLARIFICATION TO THE RATING (DIFFICULTY) OF THE PAPERS
For example
3.5867/1.4699
The first number is truly personal and up to the user to set their
own relative rating.
Using 3.5867 as an example, then if the user found this paper hard,
then 3.7789 will be very hard, 3.2569 about right and 3.0572 easy.
If a different user found this paper ok, then 3.7789 will be hard,
3.2569 about easy and 3.0572 very easy.
The second number (1.4699) is for “office use only”, in other words
for me and therefore needs no explaining.

Hello all!
Just a quick update for all our users.
It has been a while since I added
practice papers to the site; this is due to unexpected commitments,
excessive workload and huge uncertainty about this new A Level spec
( I personally do not think it will last...)
However I have constantly been
adding new questions in the topic books which I feel that are of
superior value to any paper that I write...
(do you know that each and every
question which goes into the practice papers is taken from a topic
book?)
However I found a bit of time recently
and I will try to add some new papers, the likely order will be MP2
(J,K,L) and then MMS (not sure which ones).

The first paper of the new I.Y.G.B. Practice Papers, suitable for
the 2019 UK syllabi is now available.
I started writing the MP1 range starting with paper M.
The anticipated production rate for these papers is 1 paper per 2 to
3 weeks.

Papers, is now available.
The anticipated

I will start writing
new I.Y.G.B. practice papers, 26 for each module, which will mostly
follow the Pearson/Edexcel Syllabus introduced for teaching from
2017.
Some modules will be first examined in 2018 and some in 2019

• MP2: Straight Maths Paper 2 (mathematical methods)
• MMS: Straight Maths Mechanics/Statistics Paper
• FP1: Further Maths Paper 1 (mathematical methods)
• FP2: Further Maths Paper 2 (mathematical methods)
• FP3: Further Maths Paper 3 (mathematical methods)
• FP4: Further Maths Paper 4 (mathematical methods)
• FM1: Further Mechanics Paper 1
• FM2: Further Mechanics Paper 2 (extension from FM1)
• FS1: Further Statistics Paper 1
No plans to write papers for FS2, FD1 and FD2
All papers will have model solutions.

Many users of my
site are aware of my presence and contribution in the TSR maths
forum until recently.
Firstly let me apologise to you for deleting
most of my resources from TSR.
I feel I need to get the record straight with regards to my
departure from the TSR site.
I have been subjected to a constant barrage of harassment and
bullying by the so called moderators of the site.
The response of
the "Community Team" was farcical at best and disgraceful at its
worst.
However I realised my expectations were unrealistic and chose to
leave as...
• ...moderation is done by youngsters (some are underage teenagers)
whose motivation to moderate the forums for free, is to gratify
their own self importance.
• ...the typical member of the "Community Team" is a "30-something"
individual who still posts "AMA" threads.
Therefore I am not really surprised that TSR treated me in a
disrespectful manner and no wonder that many schools have barred TSR
as they feel it has little academic value.
PS. A transcript of the discussion of the penultimate incident, the
"last nail on the coffin" actually took place today, is attached as
temporary file t01.

request of many schools.
They are still available on request until
further notice.
I can email the solutions to individuals for up to 2 papers.
Please do not upload solutions on the internet.
